Robert Charles Taylor is a landscape and wildlife photographer who has lived by the ocean all of his life. Born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island, he graduated from Boston University receiving a BA in mathematics. After several years in Ipswich, Massachusetts he and his family moved to York Harbor, Maine where they have lived for the past thirty years.

Much of Robert's work reflects life around the state of Maine, particularly the sea coast. He also travels extensively, particularly in South Africa where he captures the wildlife and unique scenery of that country. His work is often marked by use of vibrant colors and crisp, detailed images.

Taylor is forever in search for those images that tell a story or evoke nostalgic feelings.

Robert is a member of the the Kittery Art Association, the New Hampshire Art Association and the New Hampshire Society of Photographic Artists.
